In 1985, AV Digital Productions Ltd. (AVDP) commenced production of Video Based Training - Technical Instruction - Corporate programs, primarily for the demanding North Sea Offshore Oil & Gas Production & Drilling industry. AVDP’s production facility is strategically placed near Aberdeen, Scotland, at the centre of U.K. North Sea oil and gas operations.
The experience gained in this demanding industry has enabled AVDP to successfully expand it’s program production capabilities to other industries such as the Maritime, Petrochemical, Power Generation, and Aviation industries.
In 1992, AVDP started producing “Off the Shelf” generic training video programs to cater for the demand from clients for training programs on common subjects. AVDP also developed a “with questions” training video format which has proved very successful.
AVDP has a world wide market for “Generic” video training programs, which are also now available in DVD, Video-CBT format.
Productions specific to clients specific requirements has expanded world wide, with the Company being contracted to produce programs for clients world wide, including S.E Asia, Australia, Brazil, USA, Canada, Skandinavia and the Middle East.
In 2003 AV Digital Productions Ltd. (AVDP) & Armaco Consultant Pvt. Ltd. formed a joint venture company AVDP-ARMA Multimedia Systems Pvt. Ltd. in Mumbai, India, to provide clients in the Middle East, Africa, India, S.E. Asia / Asia Pacific with a cost-effective and regional production centre.
Competency Based Training now plays an important part in the Company’s production activities - Video-CBT, CBT & E-learning with Competency Assessment.
